This might be the most ugliest purse I have ever seen, so I can't really figure out exactly why I want it.

what i wore: bow tights!
So today I was off work and went to go see Twilight: Eclipse. As a total vampire crazed girl, yes, I love the Twilight series and took the day off to see it. The movies are kind of bad, but I have to say that Eclipse was the best out of all three so far. Plus, it was my favorite book in the series, so... But what I wore! (Sidenote: I also managed to get nacho cheese all in my hair during the movie. Figures.)
Just like my heart tights, but. With bows! This is the most exciting thing.

kirsten stewart's new red hair!
KStew chopped and colored her long dark brown hair into a short red cut. I've been really wanting to chop my hair off lately and this just gives me more reason to want to. I love it!

So I really suspenders. I REALLY like them. Like, I want to tell jokes when I wear them. So yeah. This. And my PINK shoes arrived! They are super super comfortable too, so that's a plus.

what i wore: festivalin' (again)
Today I hung out with an old friend from college and we went to a festival, ate some gyros, and then got too hot being in the sun so we went to Crate & Barrel and shopped for apartment stuff. Fin.

erin fetherston: resort 2011
Now normally when think "Resort" I think of when I get the Victoria's Secret RESORT catalog in the dead of winter where the models are having a fantastic time frolicking in their bikinis and resortwear off at some exotic location on a beach, and then here I am, flipping depressingly through the catalog in the midst of a snowstorm on a freezing cold january day.
But I digress! These Erin Fetherston resort 2011 looks are GREAT. I wish I had those pants. And that hat. But then I have a tendency to buy hats and I'm all "Oh I love this hat I will wear it everywhere! Yeah HATS!"
And then it sits. Neglected from my head. In my closet.

sun drenched.
This Vogue Nippon shoot with Lily Donaldson is so pretty. I love the hazy fog and flare from the sun in every shot.

try it on: orange shadow.
How cool is orange shadow? Whether it's a sedated coral color or a bright vibrant orange...pretty cool.
To test it out at home, I have used a Kryolan orange color (I have this) I tried for a more vibrant approach:
Or a softer coral color (using Jemma Kidd's shadow in Theatre):
The first one was more fun to wear (but "WHERE would I wear it?" I ask!), but the second seems a bit more doable going out (or maybe even daytime-wise?).
