I love James Perse t-shirts. I recently got this tank dress and it's no exception. The cotton is super comfortable and the cuts/styles always seem to fit so well. It was a bit sheer, so I put a slip I had underneath it. Originally I tried to prevent the slip from showing underneath, but then I kinda liked the little color added to it.

Okay. Too much shopping today! I went with my mom and sister, and well...I spent a bit more than I meant to. But I also bought the cutest little outfits for my niece with horses on them. Gotta ingrain in her a love of horses early, you know.

what i wore: suspenders!

This weekend was so fun. I got to hang out with a bunch of people I haven't seen in a long time which was a really great time, and on top of that -- it was just a really nice, relaxing weekend all around. I went walking around the neighborhood for a bit and did a bit of shopping today. Not really 100% looking forward to Monday, since this weekend was such a good time!

what i wore: eat pray love movie day!

So yesterday I went to see Eat Pray Love with my friend Emily. I hadn't finished the book because, well...I have horrible ADD when it comes to finishing books. I have a bunch of books I've started reading and seriously haven't finished. But that's with the exception of the Twilight Series (but let's not judge me for that, thanks). Anyway. I really liked it! I didn't know how it ended since I never finished the book, but I thought it brought a lot of stuff to mind that I've been thinking about lately, and really how to live presently and positively and not dwell on the past, and forgiving yourself and all that. So I thought it was pretty great. And such a PRETTY film, too. Which makes me cross my fingers harder in hopes I get to venture out to Europe next year (Spain, Italy, France  now -- hopefully!)

But here's what I wore.

antlers: finished product!

I finally finished my antler rack for my wall! (And the antlers were shedded antlers and not from an actual deer kill, fyi) Inspired by this photo, but I still have to wait for some more of my art to put on the walls to finish the job.
