what i wore: black milk. galaxies.
They came. I saw. I conquered. But really. Oh my god, I love these! I want to wear them every single day. Black Milk Clothing really friggin' rules. I'm definitely wearing these out this weekend. Fan-tastic. And I want more -- their new line comes out today, at 2pm, Australia time. Yes! My space obsession just reached a whole new level.

what i wore: bone necklace.
Yes. I know. I'm a total creep. A total creep with an animal jawbone around my neck. But isn't it cool? I have another one similar to it but much smaller. This one is from etsy seller SinIsPretty. When I saw it I just had to get it. I mean, if anything -- good or bad -- it's a conversation piece!

what i wore: (leather pig tails)
So it's not crazy WARM out, only 60 degrees. But I was one of those terrible people breaking out the shorts today. But they're leather, okay? I mean, they aren't like jean cutoffs, so I feel I should get a free pass! Though, I will admit, it was kind of cold. I got these awesome leather bands to wrap around your pig tails at a little shop in Arizona that I just love, too. I also got this really cute spyglass necklace there as well. Arizona was a great time, it just went by so fast!

what i wore: (ode to the man repeller)
One of my favorite (and everyone else's lately, I'd think) blogs is The Man Repeller. Leandra is so friggin' cute and I love her ability to layer everything and make an outfit look sylish (and opposite sex repelling, duh). Her ability to layer feathers upon feathers upon feathers is pretty amazing. I was lazy today, and I missed my hot pink shoes, and since it was too cold to wear just sandals... hey, I like horses, why not pair them together? Whatevs. (And shhh, don't tell anyone but I wore pretty much the same outfit last night too.)

what i wore: (madewell)
This was one of the shirts I previously bought from Madewell. I love the lemon mixed with the clay color check print print, and that's what drew me to it! This is actually what I wore to work one day this week. So far this weekend so far has been particularly lazy -- I had big plans to go out early today for some St. Patrick's Day festivities, but umm...let's just say I never usually partake in St. Patty's Day stuff and apparently since many people DO, I totally miscalculated the time it would take for me to get a cab. So this meant I looked for one to no avail for 30 minutes until I totally gave up and came home. I'm a total quitter! I watched an episode of "The Universe" on The History Channel about nebulas instead. Totally not complaining though. (Happy St. Patrick's Day weekend, everyone!)

etsy: simply bridal.
As previously mentioned, this year I have three weddings to go to in the summertime so far (all pretty much right after the other!). It seems like every week I get a "save the date" card in the mail. I've been asked for a few suggestions on people to use as far as wedding orders/plans, and my friend at Simply Bridal makes some fabulous accessories for weddings -- ring bearer pillows, garters, all the small things needed for a bride and bridal party! These pillows are some of my favorites, and I love the tiny little personalized accents she adds to each which make the pillows very special and memorable. And I love anything with peacocks! Gorgeous.

...and after I bought these heels I immediately remembered I already have hot pink heels. Oops. But there are slightly different (slightly!). Besides, I'm going to Arizona in a few weeks so I figured I'd at least get a few new things to wear while I'm there. That's validation, right?!

what i wore: (high risers)
Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was excellent. I went out Friday night and I wore this top from ASOS. It makes me feel a bit like a figure skater in it...well, at least the mesh detail at the top does (which, hey, was kinda big at the Oscars on Sunday too!). The gracefulness and balance of a figure skater doesn't seem to come with it. But! I also got my new Madewell "high riser" jeans in eclipse wash, and this is the first time I've worn Madewell jeans before. I love the fit of them, and I think high waisted jeans are the way to go lately because all my other jeans fit so low cut.
