(ch-ch-ch-changes)

So I finally bit the bullet and dyed my hair red again! I got my hair trimmed a bit too. I've wanted to cut my hair off for a while, but I think a few people I know would shed a few tears if that happened, so...a compromise. I'm still getting used to it, but red fades so fast, I should enjoy it while it lasts. (Hey, that rhymes! It's like a John Mellencamp song.)

what i wore: (brunch times)

You know when you just hop outta bed after you've received a text from your friends asking you to do brunch in 10 minutes and you are just DYING for brunch and you throw on some clothes real quickly and run out the door, and a street photographer happens to capture it and then it's put on Refinery29? Welp, I do!

PS -- I'm getting my hair cut and colored this weekend. Promise I won't do anything drastic. I don't think.

what i wore: (extraterrestrial)

For Halloween, I went as SPACE! which gave me an awesome excuse to buy this Black Milk Blue Galaxy Dress. I thought I couldn't really wear it much, since I don't go to a lot of places that a short tight galaxy printed dress is appropriate, but it also doubles as a longer tank top for me, so now my love of space self can wear it all the time. SPACE! (Also, who needs a haircut? I DO.)

In case you haven't seen it already, check out this AWESOME medieval inspired photo editorial shot by Chris Nicholls. It's one of the coolest shoots I've seen in a while! See the rest here. (Really, it's worth clicking that link. So cool!)

what i wore: (plaid and leather, you know)

Hi hi hiiiiiii. I'm back, you know, so here you go. An outfit post! I got busy eating boxes of Cheez-Its, so I haven't posted. You know how it is. I got these, my FAVORITE boots from Anthropologie maybe about 4 years ago. They rule. I've probably posted about them before, but a refresher course:

I think they were called "Air Mail" boots, and they have luggage tags on them! Fancy, huh?
